We help young students from diverse backgrounds reach their dreams of pursuing law
The Law Mentorship Scheme is open and free to all.
We want to ensure that no one is at a disadvantage in getting into the law faculty due to a lack of knowledge, their family background, or their socioeconomic status.
We believe that mentorship is an effective way to prepare you for applying to study law and pursuing a career in the legal field.
Our mentors are lawyers from Finland’s leading law firms, who participate in the scheme as volunteers.
Our collaborative partnerships
A more diverse workforce is only in the legal industry’s interests, given that the legal system ought to be able to cater to all of society. A key aim of the legal system is, after all, to provide equal access to justice to everyone regardless of their background.
We provide law firms with an opportunity to engage in socially meaningful work through mentorship by collaborating with us as part of their corporate citizenship work.
The Law Mentorship Scheme’s team takes care of the marketing, application process and planning of the scheme. Our team is always there to support the mentors and mentees throughout the scheme.
